What we believe
We believe in the power of collective action. We're driven not by political belief, but by our belief in the human spirit, and by the understanding that together, we can make real change.
Who we are
We're a growing community of citizens committed to staying focused and doing good during an uncertain time.
Behind the scenes, we are a group of volunteers - not backed by any specific individual, party, or organization, but rather brought together by our collective desire to create positive change. Our core planning team is made up of people from diverse backgrounds who work in a wide range of sectors, from policy, to media/entertainment and the arts, to business, technology, and the non-profit sectors.

Why we're doing this
This campaign was created for those who felt like they needed to do something after this last election, but felt lost, or couldn't dedicate the amount of time they felt they'd need to give to make a difference.
By uniting a community of like-minded, action-oriented individuals to take action together, we can collectively change the world.

How it works
- Our 100-day campaign coincides with the first 100 days of the new presidency (January 20-April 29th, 2017)
- Every Sunday, we will release a new theme for the coming week, ranging from gender equality, to healthcare, to voting rights and political reform.
- Every morning, we will present 1 action you can take that day to learn about an issue, support and organization or cause, or contribute to the greater good.
- Each day's action is something you can complete in 100 seconds.
- Follow and post using #First100Ways to connect with our community, see how others are getting involved, and follow the impact of our collective action.
Is this a resistance movement?
No. Actually, we like to think of it as more of a persistence movement! We believe the most powerful thing people can do in the face of uncertainty is come together as a unified, proactive force for good. That's what this campaign is all about.
What if I join late?
No such thing! We know that not everyone is going to take action every day, and the campaign is designed to allow you to jump in at any time. If you're just joining us, you're welcome to go back and take earlier actions, or simply start from where we are and move forward with us as we grow. Whether you do 1 thing or 100, we're all in this together.
